Activities in Mannum

There are many local sporting activities in Mannum. You could enjoy a round of golf at the fully lawned 9 hole Mannum Golf Course, which has 2 different sets of tees to play off making for a great game of golf.

Next door to The Pretoria is the Mannum Lawn Bowls Club which is part of the Lower Murray Lawn Bowls Association. Social bowls are played right through the winter months every Thursday and Saturday, names in by 12.30 pm for a 1.00 start “casual clothes with flat sole shoes".

Mary Ann Reserve is just a short stroll from The Pretoria, right on the banks of the River Murray where you can relax and let the kids play on the playground whilst enjoying a quiet drink and perhaps a picnic.

There are many tourist and native walks in and around Mannum. Just past the ferry and caravan park is a peaceful bird sanctuary with great picnic grounds. On the outskirts of town the nature lover will discover the magnificent Mannum waterfalls.

The Pretoria Hotel is a great place to base to explore the many attractions of Mannum and nearby regions of the Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula and along with old ware, photographic and a gem and mineral museum. Mannum also offers watersports and fishing in a serene and picturesque river setting with many boat ramps available to launch your vessel for a day on the River Murray.
